Manage partial-match employees

If an employer submits a remittance with an employee ID that exists in the fund office software, but some of the employee's other information doesn't match between the employer portal and fund office software, the employee is listed on the Partial-Match Employees tab.

This tab is read-only since the data has already been transferred to the fund office system. Determine whether a member record like this is treated as a partial match or a new member in the Member Partial Match configuration setting.

Important! The table will continue to grow until delete rows. You might want to establish a procedure for purging or deleting rows, for example, after the partial-match employee data has been reviewed, and you have made any necessary changes to those employee records in the fund office system.

Use the Partial-Match Employees tab during the reconciliation process:

  • View the partial-match employee records that need to be reconciled. Then, use ContributionsXG to perform the actual reconciliation. To learn more, see the ContributionsXG user manual on the basys website.

Note: You must be logged onto MYbasys to view the manual.
  • Export the Partial-Match Employees table to a CSV file to use in another program, such as Excel, to analyze the employee records that need to be reconciled.
  • Delete member record rows from the Partial-Match Employees table once they're reconciled.

Access partial-match employees

Go to: Home > System Administration > EmployerXG > Partial-Match Employees

Export the partial-match employees table to a spreadsheet

Save the partial-match employees table as a spreadsheet for easy access later on.

  1. Access Partial-Match Employees.
  2. Click , then click Export.
  3. Navigate to the location where you want to save the file.
  4. Enter a name for the spreadsheet, then click Save.

Delete partial-match employees

Delete member record rows from the table once the partial-match employees have been reconciled. When you delete a member record row from the table, you're only removing the row so it no longer displays on the screen. No changes are made to the member record.

  1. Access Partial-Match Employees.
  2. Check the boxes of the rows to delete or click the box in the header row to select all rows.
  3. Click Delete Selected Records.
  4. Click OK to the warning message to delete.
  5. Click to save the changes.
